Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films generally horror or martial arts. Her style is similar with The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. Her reviews started at the end of 2009 and, following her rise to fame (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used), Allison Pregler became part of the family at Channel Awesome. The website was her home from 2009 until the year 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents became Movie Nights. The presenter hosts two podcasts: one focused on the Charmed Franchise and another co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
