Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films generally horror or martial arts. Her style is similar with The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. Her reviews started at the end of 2009 and, following her rise to fame (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used), Allison Pregler became part of the family at Channel Awesome. The website was her home from 2009 until the year 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents became Movie Nights. The presenter hosts two podcasts: one focused on the Charmed Franchise and another co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Watch her YouTube videos here as well as here. You can also find her videos on Twitter as well as Tumblr. Allison is a bit much for you? Ninja the Mission Force is where you'll find her doing the Squats in the role of Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones starred her in Jesus Bro! The role of a guest in Midnight Screenings is a regular occasion. The program reviews grotesque film that is aimed at kids, RiffTrax and live shows. It also occasionally features adult comedy. Then, in the latter half of 2009, she started to review movies, and gained popularity in the Channel Awesome forums. She was then accepted into the family of network movie critics. She's been featured in numerous Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She appeared on many episodes of Nostalgia Critic and was a former member of the family that Channel Awesome had together with Doug Walker.
