Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14th, 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. Biles was the first female gymnast in history who won four gold medals during a single Games. Then, in Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to win consecutive World All Around Titles (2013-15). Biles lived in Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time she and her sister Adria was adopted by parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone initially became interested in the sport of gymnastics when she was six. Her coach Aimee Borman accompanied Biles to Bannon's Gymnastix which was where they went on a field excursion. Biles took home a gold medal in vault and floor at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships of 2010 before making her debut at the top level of gymnastics. In less than two years, she dominated the sport. What stood Biles apart was her consistency her vibrant personality as well as the extreme level of difficulty she integrated into her workout routines for every event - vault, uneven bars balance beam as well as the floor workout.
